OPTION 1

THE MEGHALAYA

ADVENTURE EXPERIENCE

Guwahati-Mawlynnong-Dawki-Guwahati

This tour comprises of customized packages ranging from 5 to 7 days. The tour commences with the picking-up of guests from Guwahati Airport by our Guest Relationship Executive, followed by an overnight halt at a luxury hotel in the city.

Next morning, guests will be driven to Mawlynnong in Meghalaya. There will be pitstops enroute at the beautiful Umiam Lake and Shillong, the capital of Meghalaya. Guests will be treated to a sumptuous lakeside picnic lunch at Umiam. A short sightseeing trip in Shillong may be arranged on the way wherein guests can checkout the marvelous Elephant falls, Wards Lake, Lady Hydari Park and the Shillong Peak.

On the third day, the real adventure begins at Mawlynnong and Dawki with activities which include trekking to the double decker root bridges, scuba diving, kayaking, river rafting, zip-lining, snorkeling, rock-climbing/rappelling, cliff jumping and overnight camping by the river. Indulge yourself in the pure thrill and adrenaline rush till you are thoroughly exhausted! After 2 to 4 days of adventure, the guests will be escorted back to Guwahati where they will catch a flight to their onward destination.  

OPTION 2

ARUNACHAL EXTRAVAGANZA

Dibrugarh-Pasighat-Siang-Dibrugarh

This tour comprises of customized packages ranging from 5 to 7 days. The tour would commence when the guests are received by our Guest Relationship Executive at Mohanbari Airport, Dibrugarh, followed by an overnight halt in a heritage tea bungalow.The bungalow dates back to the British colonial era and is set amidst a lush green tea garden. Relax in the lap of nature and luxury. In the late afternoon we will take you on a brief tour of the city of Dibrugarh which lies on the banks of the mighty River Brahmaputra.

Next morning, guests will be driven to Pasighat in the state of Arunachal Pradesh. You have to ferry across the Brahmaputra in a country boat and drive through some scenic rural countryside before entering Pasighat and Aalo. Pasighat is located on the banks of the River Siang and  is one of the famous hill stations of the state of Arunachal Pradesh. It is the oldest town of the state and is popularly known as the ‘gateway of Arunachal Pradesh’.

The real adventure begins at River Siang and Pasighat. Activities which include trekking, Angling, Boating, White water rafting, and overnight camping by the river. Indulge yourself in the pure thrill and adrenaline rush till you are thoroughly exhausted! After 2 to 4 days of adventure, the guests will be escorted back to Dibrugarh where they will catch a flight to their onward destination.  

OPTION 3

TAWANG ADVENTURE

Guwahati-Nameri-Dirang-Tawang-Guwahati

This tour comprises of customized packages ranging from 7 to 8 days which starts  the moment you are picked by our Guest Relationship Executive at Guwahati, followed by an overnight halt in a luxury hotel in the city. 

​

Next morning after breakfast, you will leave for Nameri National Park in the foothills of the Himalayas. It is a drive of about 5 hours from Guwahati. Check into a heritage tea bungalow.

The adventure activities in Nameri includes Wildlife Trekking, Angling for the Golden Mahseer on river Jia Bharoli. Rafting will be scheduled for the third day into the journey. Guest will enjoy the overnight camping in Nameri.

 

On the next day guests will be driven to Dirang, an ideal center for adventure sports like trekking, hiking and river rafting. After Dirang you will be driven to Tawang. You can also expect trekking, hiking in Tawang. In winter season guest may indulge in skiing in Tawang.

 

After 4 to 5 days of adventure, the guests will be escorted back to Guwahati where they will catch a flight to their onward destination. 

INCLUSIONS & EXCLUSIONS

Inclusions

  • All applicable transfers and sightseeing as per the   Itineray.

  • Meal on Modified American Plan (MAP) Basis, with two bottles of packaged drinking water per person per day.

  • Vehicle Hiring Charges, Fuel Charges, Entry Permit Charges, Third Part Insurance Costs & Other Permit Charges. 

  • Sightseeing entry fees and any up-gradation charges.

  •  Cost of one meal per day and additional snacks.

  •  Personal expenses, soft drinks, alcoholic drinks, porter  tips etc.

  •   Toll taxes, Parking Charges, camera entry charges wherever applicable, etc.

  •  Expenses incurred due to mishaps, landslides ,strike,      political unrest etc .In such case, the additional  expenses  would be charged as per actual and shall be  collected directly from the guest.

TIPS FOR A FUN FILLED TRIP

It is requested that you follow these recommendations to enjoy the most fun filled vacation you have ever had!

While travelling in Northeast during the winters you should carry ample winter clothes including hand-gloves and caps. Also, carry light woolen even in summer season when you are travelling to the hills of Northeast especially if you are on a trip to Arunachal Pradesh.

​

Respect the local culture, people and their customs.

 

Help the local authorities in keeping the tourist spots clean by not spilling garbage but putting your waste in the dustbins provided.

​

Do not attempt to feed wild animals as they may be dangerous and may attack you instantaneously.

​

Always listen carefully to all safety briefings provided from time to time during the trip by the local tour guide.

​

Please carry a pair of good walking shoes and track suits for adventure trips.

From rafting over Class 5 rapids and canoeing in mountain rivers to cycling in the Himalayas, rock climbing in the steep hills of Meghalaya and scuba diving in pristine green waters, the Northeast has got everything to satisfy the soul of an adrenaline junkie.
