Day 1-Arrival at Guwahati (O/N)
On arrival at the Guwahati airport, you will be received by our Guest Relationship Executive and escorted to your hotel. After checking in and freshening up, we will take you on a short tour of the city. The tour will culminate with a sunset river cruise on the mighty Brahmaputra. Watch the sun go down as you sip on a tall glass of juice or mocktail. Spend the rest of the evening as you like. You may wish to head to the spa for some pampering or dine at an authentic Assamese restaurant.
Day 2-Guwahati-Kamakhya-Mawlynnong (O/N)
Rise and shine! Have a cup of coffee/tea and head for the famous Kamakhya temple. Explore the ancient temple and offer your prayers to Maa Kamakhya. After breakfast, leave for Mawlynnong, the cleanest village in Asia. Enroute, you will be making a pitstop at the famous Umiam lake, which looks much like a Scottish loch. Stay overnight at a village homestay in Mawlynnong.
Day 3-Mawlynnong-Shillong-Sonapur/Guwahati
(O/N at either Guwahati or Sonapur)
In the morning, sink into the sights and sounds of Mawlynnong and get a first-hand experience of peaceful village life. Go on a hike to the living root bridge and climb up a bamboo bridge to catch a glimpse of the plains of a neighbouring country. Post lunch, you will head to Shillong, the capital of Meghalaya. After local sightseeing and shopping in Shillong, you will drive back to Assam. Overnight stay at a jungle resort in Sonapur or at a luxurious hotel in Guwahati.
Day 4-Sonapur/Guwahati- Bordowa-Jorhat (O/N)
After a sumptuous breakfast, we will leave for Bordowa satra, the birth place of Srimanta Sankardeva, the social reformer and founder of Vaishnavism in Assam. After the Bordowa visit you will continue your journey onwards to Jorhat. Overnight stay at a heritage tea planter’s bungalow.
Day 5-Jorhat- Majuli (O/N)
Cross the river Brahmaputra on a ferry and arrive at Majuli, the biggest river island in the world and the cultural capital of Assam. Get an in-depth knowledge of the Assamese culture through its songs, dances, prayers and cuisine. Overnight stay at an authentic village homestay or a village resort.
Day 6-Majuli (O/N)
After breakfast you will be taken on a tour of of various Satras (monasteries), an Ahom dynasty museum, as well as a Mising tribal village in the island. In the early evening, hop on a bicycle and go bird-watching in the company of our expert guide. Back at your homestay/resort, sit around a warm bonfire and have your traditional dinner.
Day 7-Majuli-Kaziranga (O/N)
Post breakfast, say goodbye to Majuli. Our next destination will be Kaziranga National park, a world heritage site and home to the world-famous Indian one-horned rhinoceros. Go on an afternoon jeep safari and see the wild animals up and close. Overnight stay at a luxurious jungle resort.
Day 8-Kaziranga-Guwahati Airport departure
Wake up at the crack of dawn to go on an elephant safari adventure. After a warm shower and a hearty breakfast, drive back to Guwahati (4 hours drive). You may head straight to the airport and catch a late evening flight to your onward destination or spend the night at Guwahati and take the flight on the ensuing day.

Day 1-Arrival at Guwahati (O/N)
On arrival at the Guwahati airport, you will be received by our Guest Relationship Executive and escorted to your hotel. Day 2-Bordowa-Mayong (O/N)
Get on the road to Bordowa Satra (monastery) right after breakfast (driving time 2.5 hours). Bordowa is the birth place of Srimanta Sankardeva, the social reformer and founder of Vaishnavism in Assam. Explore the Satra, the culture and the teachings of Srimanta Sankardeva. Leave for Mayong, the land of black magic. Lunch en-route. Check into an authentic village homestay at Mayong for an overnight stay. In the evening, sit by a bonfire and experience a black magic show.
Day 3-Pobitora-Hajo–Sualkuchi-Guwahati
(O/N either at Sualkuchi or Guwahati)
Wake up early and go on an elephant safari at the Pobitara Wildlife sanctuary, which is famous for having the highest density of one horned rhinos per square kilometer. After breakfast, depart for Hajo where you will visit two of the most important cultural destinations in Assam, the Hayagriva Madhav temple and Poa Mecca. Sualkuchi, the silk capital of Assam will be the next stopover after Hajo. At Sualkuchi, you will witness the process of weaving the famous golden Assam silk by the village artisans. You can buy the best quality Assamese Silk Sarees/Mekhela Chadar at Sualkuchi. Overnight stay either at homestay in Sualkuchi or at Guwahati.
Day 4-Barpeta-Madan Kamdev-Guwahati (O/N)
After Breakfast, visit the eminent Satras (Hindu monasteries) of Barpeta, a small town located at about 150 kms from Guwahati. You will also be visiting the famous traditional bell metal, mask and local jewellery manufacturing industries there. After exploring Barpeta, leave for Madan Kamdev, a world heritage site to see the ruins of the Pala dynasty temple. Return to Guwahati and stay overnight in a luxury hotel.
Day 5-Shillong-Mawlynnong (O/N)
Post breakfast, leave for Shillong, Meghalaya, recently voted ‘The best hill station in India’. On the way, drop in at the Umiam lake, which lies surrounded by pine tree clad hills. After local sightseeing in Shillong, we will head towards Mawlynnong, the cleanest village in Asia. Experience Khasi village life and the warm hospitality of the villagers. Overnight stay at a village homestay.
Day 6-Mawlynnong- Guwahati (O/N)
Wake up to the sound of chirping birds. Treat yourself to a relaxing and leisurely morning. Laze around in the morning and take a stroll around the village. Hike to a natural root bridge and climb up a bamboo bridge to catch a glimpse of the plains of Bangladesh. By late afternoon leave for Guwahati and stay overnight.
Day 7-Guwahati–Airport departure
This is the last day of your tour. Have an early breakfast and leave for the holy shrine of Kamakhya atop the Nilachal hills. After you have offered your prayers at the Kamakhya temple, we give you a tour of the prominent places of interest in Guwahati, including the State Museum and Kalakshetra cultural institution. With this we come to the end of the tour. We drive you to the airport and bid you goodbye with a hope of seeing you again.

Day 1-Arrival at Dibrugarh (O/N)
On Arrival at Dibrugarh airport, you will be met by our Guest Relationship Executive who will escort you to a beautiful heritage tea garden bungalow where you would be spending the night. Spend the day at your leisure.
Day 2-Dibrugarh- Digboi- Shingpho vilLage (O/N Home stay)
After breakfast you will leave for the oil town of Digboi. It is at Digboi that Asia’s first oil refinery was set up in 1887. Visit the Digboi Oil Museum to get an insight into the history and heritage of the Assam Oil Industry. Next stop would be the War Cemetery wherein lies the graves of hundreds of soldiers that perished in the Second World War. After lunch, you will be driven to the village of Imthong, home of the Singpho tribe. Stay overnight at a traditional Singpho eco lodge.
Day 3-Shingpho village –Sibsagar (O/N)
In the morning, go on a tour of the village and glimpse into the lives and culture of the Singpho people. After taking in the sights and sounds of the village, you will be getting back on the road and heading to Sibsagar, the home of the erstwhile Ahom Dynasty. Overnight stay in Sibsagar at a village homestay or a hotel.
Day 4-Sibsagar (O/N)
Local sightseeing in Sivasagar. Being an ancient historical town, Sivasagar is a pure delight to one interested in history. Check out the famous Ahom Dynasty relics like the Rangghar, Kareng ghar, talatalghar and Sivadoul.
Day 5-Sibsagar- Majuli (O/N)
On this day, you will head to Majuli, the largest river island in the world. Stay overnight at Majuli in an eco-lodge or in a village homestay.
Day 6-Majuli (O/N)
After breakfast you will be taken on a tour of various satras (monasteries), as well as a Mising tribal village in the island. In the early evening, hop on a bicycle and go bird-watching in the company of our expert guide. Back at your homestay/resort, sit around a warm bonfire and watch a tribal dance.
Day 7-Majuli-Dibrugarh (O/N)
Post breakfast, say goodbye to Majuli and after crossing the mighty Brahmaputra by ferry drive through the lush green countryside back to the riverside city of Dibrugarh. Check into your luxurious heritage tea bungalow and stay overnight.
Day 8-Dibrugarh Airport departure
Leave for Dibrugarh airport and catch the flight back home.

TIPS FOR A FUN FILLED TRIP
It is requested that you follow these recommendations to enjoy the most fun filled vacation you have ever had!
While travelling in Northeast during the winters you should carry ample winter clothes including hand-gloves and caps. Also, carry light woolen even in summer season when you are travelling to the hills of Northeast especially if you are on a trip to Arunachal Pradesh.
Respect the local culture, people and their customs.
Help the local authorities in keeping the tourist spots clean by not spilling garbage and by putting your waste in the dustbins provided.
Do not attempt to feed wild animals as they may be dangerous and may attack you instantaneously.
Always listen carefully to all safety briefings provided from time to time during the trip by the local tour guide.
